A Henan Food Adventure Begins on the Street

Food adventures require a reservation, a fancy restaurant, and a long menu. This one requires a city sidewalk, a curious appetite, and enough courage to try a few traditional Henan favorites.

Some food adventures begin with a carefully planned itinerary. Others begin with a stylish outfit, an empty stomach, and the sudden realization that the local market has live rabbits. This particular adventure definitely belongs in the second category.

Then comes the experimental drink. She pours Sprite and whisky into a large beer mug, creating a refreshing-looking highball. She takes a sip and continues enjoying her meal.

The restaurant suddenly gets another surprise when a fan approaches and asks for a quick photo. Naturally, the moment ends with a cheerful toast before everyone returns to their food and drinks.

The Restaurant’s Funniest Final Act

But eventually, the long day catches up with her.

She dramatically rests her head on the table and pretends to fall asleep.

For a brief moment, it looks like the restaurant has gained a new permanent customer.
